Addo Elephant National Park

Addo Elephant National Park is the third largest national park in South Africa, situated in Eastern Cape. The park was found in 1931 and aimed to provide a sanctuary for elephants in the area. Today the parks houses for more than 450 elephants and a large number of various mammals. The park has a plan to expand to become a mega park with 652,300 acres.

Agulhas National Park

Agulhas National Park is located at the legendary "Cape of Storms", which wrecked many ships travelling east by Agulhas. It is also home to the indigenous Khoi-Khoi people who once lived harmoniously with nature, building tidal traps to catch fish and other ocean life. It became a national park in 1999.

Augrabies Falls National Park

Augrabies Falls Nations Park was established in 1966, located around Augrabies Falls in the Northern Cape, South Africa. The water fall in the park is about 60 meters high. The Khoikhoi people call the water fall as “Aukoerebis?or place of great noise as the flow of the water is from rocky surroundings along the Orange River gorge which runs for 18 kilometers.

Bontebok National Park

The park was found in 1961 to preserve bontebok. It is situated in Western Cape, South Africa. Bontebok national park is considered to be the smallest national park in the country. The park is species-specific, offering for nature lovers with over 200 bird species. There are around 200 bonteboks due to the size of the park. The park also offers guest scenery, fishing, bird watching, a swimming spot, biking, and national sightseeing with a unique experience of South African culture.

Camdeboo National Park

Camdeboo national park is located in Karoo, South Africa. It offers visitors unique and beautiful scenery, landscape, and ecosystem. The park is surrounded by the town of Graaff-Reinet in the Eastern Cape.

Garden Route National Park

The park was found in 2009 and is a combination of Tsitsikamma and Wilderness National Parks and the Knysna Lake Section. There are varieties of activities in the area including mountain, forest, seascapes, and cultural heritage resources.

Golden Gate Highlands National Park

There are many natural monuments and other geological structures in Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Located close to the Lesotho border, it is a place where one can view magnificent sandstone cliffs, caves protecting ancient paintings, and the Brandwag rock. You will also find beautiful, grassy landscapes and plenty of wildlife. Plus, it's known for many paleontological discoveries, such as dinosaur eggs.

Karoo National Park

The Karoo is a vast landscape that is home to many different species of flora and fauna such as the black rhino, the black eagle and the cape mountain zebra. Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

The park, found in 1931, lies in two national parks, Gemsbok National Park in Botswana and Kalahari Gemsbok National Park in South Africa with an area of over 3,6 million hectares. The park has large wildlife and is home to mammals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. It also has herbivores and a number of various species of birds.

Kruger National Park

The park is well-known for its offering wildlife experience in Africa, with an area of nearly 2 million hectares. It is home to various animal species such as fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. There are 9 main gates entrance to different camps in the park.

Mapungubwe National Park

There are three things everyone should see in Mapungubwe National Park. First, the Lost City is where archeologists found evidence of a wealthy African nation that flourised in the 13th century AD. Second, the beautiful landscape of sandstone, boabab trees, elephants, giraffes, rhinos and many other flora and fauna. Lastly, the Transfrontier Conservation area is the planned result of cooperation between Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa to protect the natural beauty of this region that they share.

Marakele National Park

Here visitors can view the cape vulture, the african elephant, the rhinoceros, the kudu and the antelope among other wildlife. Take a narrow road to the top of Waterberg Massif for a fantastic view while birds fly by at near distances. Enjoy the scenery that occurs due to its location in between dry and moist climates.

Mokala National Park

Mokala means "Camel Thorn" in Setswana language. the Camel Thorn is a tree that is found in south Africa and that has been used to treat coughs, colds and nosebleeds with its gum and bark. Besides the trees, you'll find grassy hills and shallow waterways taht drain into sandy plains and then grasslands. Look for the Wildebeest, White Rhino and other species.

Mountain Zebra National Park

Mountain Zebra National Park was created to protect the Cape Mountain Zebra population in the 1930s, when it was endangered. There are now around 220 zebras in the park and around 20 are relocated yearly. Along with Cheetah, Zebras, Buffalo, Rhinos, gemsbok and other animals, you can enjoy beautiful plains and mountains.

Namaqua National Park

Namaqua National Park may be the most beautiful piece of nature in the world. Where else can you find flowers that carpet the earth, areas of glittery Quartz, pristine beaches and exotic plants and animals in the same place? The landscape changes seasonally and about a third of the 3,500 flowers in the region are not found anywhere else in the world.

Tankwa Karoo National Park

The park is about four-hour drive from Cape Town. The park was expanded from 26,000 hectares in 1986 to 143,600 hectares in 2010. It is home to a large variety of birds.

|Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park

The park was found in 2003 with a combination of Namibian Ai-|Ais Hot Springs Game Park and the South African Richtersveld National Park. There are birds, mammals, and a range of small reptiles in the park. Not every type of cars can get into the park. The park only allows 4x4 vehicles to get in.
